Install NVIDIA GT610m Aka Optimus Di Ubuntu 14.04

Pada kesempatan ini saya akan men-share cara install Nvidia Optimus pada ubuntu. Khusus untuk ubuntu prosesnya gak ribet ribet amat. cuma tinggal tambahin repo trus apt-get install :p

tambahkan repo universe dan multiverse

sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -sc) main universe restricted multiverse"

sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -sc) universe"

sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -sc) universe"

sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -sc) main universe restricted multiverse"

sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -sc) partner"

Lalu update reponya dan install bumblebee nya serta reboot.

sudo apt-get install mesa-utils

sudo apt-get install bumblebee bumblebee-nvidia primus linux-headers-generic

reboot

Kalau sudah di install coba akses GPU secondary nya.

optirun bash

kalau terjadi error

[ERROR]Cannot access secondary GPU - error: [XORG] (EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA GPU at PCI:1:0:0. Please[ERROR]Aborting because fallback start is disabled

lakukan beberapa langkah dibawah ini.

sudo apt-get install nvidia-331-updates

edit skrip konfigurasi bumblebee sudo gedit /etc/bumblebee/bumblebee.conf

ganti konfigurasinya menggunakan skrip dibawah, sebelumnya backup dahulu skrip konfigurasi defaultnya. untuk jaga-jaga

save lalu reboot.

setelah reboot cek kembali apakah GPU secondary nya sudah bisa diakses.
